What is the certificate in CiBM?
- A short course aimed at both BID and non-BID personnel.
- Delivered through a combination of distance learning and on-site training days.
- A qualification which covers all aspects of working within a BID environment:
- Principles of BIDs
- BID regulations and policy
- Governance, levy rules and finance
- Contract management in BIDs
- Brand development, marketing and comms in BIDs
- Employment law and personnel issues
- Presentation mentoring

Why you should study the CiBM
As the BID industry grows and matures, quality is increasingly paramount to voters. This qualification reassures voters that staff are in place with the appropriate skills and that can be considered industry leaders.
The course provides an opportunity to network with peers in the industry and cover all facets of the BID environment. The CiBM is the industry’s only formal qualification and since its launch in 2013 has fast established a record of assisting in graduate’s career development.
The 2nd class of 2017 will be graduating on the 19/10/17 at the National BID Conference in Cambridge.
