Registration
BIDs are encouraged to register their details using a simple registration form
Regular e-newsletters and e-bulletins
Keep up to date with news and views from around the country with regular news and
bulletins. The e-newsletter is published quarterly and focuses on detailed issues
of interest and concern to the BID industry including specific Bb research findings.
e-bulletins are sent to members as news breaks, including ballot results.
Events and Networking
British BIDs understands the importance of bringing BIDs together in formal and
informal settings for networking purposes and provides regular events to facilitate
this. Topic-focused events include training and development opportunities, a marketing
forum and regular lunches for BID Chairs. These combine with the Annual Conference
and Dinner. All are available to members at discounted rates.

An extensive register of all formal and developing BIDs is available to members
on the website and includes contact details for each.
Voter Contacts
British BIDs aims to make the process of communication between developing BIDs and
potential levy payers as easy as possible. To this end, we have built a Voter Contacts
Database of major high street brands across the country for our members

Pension
The only industry-specific pension plan is available to all members. The plan is
fully portable and removes any undue burden on the BID company.
Accreditation
British BIDs Accreditation has become the industry standard to measure a BID's quality
management systems. The system focuses on ensuring that the BIDs stakeholders are
satisfied that the BID is well managed, with strong governance arrangements in place
and that it complies with the Legislation and Regulations which govern it. Accreditation
is available to members at a discounted rate.
Advanced Accreditation
The Advanced Accreditation system is aimed at formal BIDs who have already obtained
Accreditation status. It extends the process to help measure their quality management
systems. The system focuses on ensuring that the BIDs stakeholders are satisfied
that the BID is well managed, with strong governance arrangements in place and that
it complies with the legislation and regulations that govern it. Advanced Accreditation
is available to members at a discounted rate.
